Marcella Bianco

She has a degree in Linguistic Mediation from the “Università di Roma Tre”, where she studied Chinese,
English and French.
She furthered her Chinese language studies at Shanghai International Studies University (上海外国语大学).
In 2019, after earning the DITALS I certification, she specialised in teaching Italian to Chinese native
speakers.
That same year, she obtained DITALS II certification, becoming a certified Italian teacher.
She has several years of experience in teaching Italian as a second language, both in Italy and in China.
In 2022 she worked as an Italian teacher at the Italian Refugee Council.
She also took part in the PNRR project “Fight against School Dropout” by covering the position of expert
teacher of Italian as Second Language at “Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Donato Bramante”.
Since 2022, she has been working at St. Philip School, where she teaches Italian as Second Language.
She also works as a linguistic facilitator and primary school substitute teacher.
