St. Philip Primary School is different thanks to its teaching method of "being able to do". It combines theoretical and practical activities with the aim of encouraging children's learning and spontaneous assimilation of English. The specific task of the first cycle is to promote basic literacy through the acquisition of languages and codes that make up the fabric of our culture in a wider horizon to the other, with which we live and are conscious of the use of new media.

It is a social and cultural literacy that includes the instrumental, always synthesised in "reading, writing and arithmetic", and boosts through the languages and knowledge of the various disciplines.
Social and cultural literacy contributes as a priority in multilingual and intercultural education.

The mother tongue, the language of education and foreign languages, as languages of education, in fact, help to promote the rights of the subject to the full development of one's identity in contact with the linguistic and the cultural distinctiveness. Multilingual and intercultural educationas a resource to the functional value of diversity and the academic success of each and every one and is a prerequisite for social inclusion and democratic participation.

Primary school, aimed at the acquisition of basic learning, as the first exercise of constitutional rights. For boys and girls who attend an opportunity to develop the size of cognitive, emotional, affective, social, bodily, ethical and religious, and to acquire the essential knowledge.
