History

St Philip School was originally set up in 2014 when St Philip Preschool was opened. As a natural progression, other educational stages have been added (first Primary and then lower Secondary).

From the outset, we have offered an organic path of growth and learning in full compliance with the curricula of all educational stages, with a view to have our students ready for and fully aligned with international curricula.

The methods we employ see their effectiveness and validity reaffirmed everyday by the excellent outcomes our students produce, both in learning English and, in a broader perspective, in building their knowledge and identity.

Although ours is not a Waldorf school, it draws significantly on Waldorf pedagogy. Most members of our faculty have their pedagogical background firmly rooted in Waldorf and opportunities for training in Waldorf methodology are made available to all our teachers on a regular and voluntary basis.
